My child is non verbal will this be an issue?..
Not at all !
As a fully qualified SNA (Special Needs Assistant) Sadie has the patience and understanding to communicate with each child in their own special way. No child is left out, whatever their abilities.
All we ask, is for you to let us know your child's individual needs when booking.
What if my child has sensory issues?..
Not a problem!
We welcome all children of all abilities. Each and every workshop can be adapted to suit each child's individual needs, so no child is left out.
With the right planning; such as clear instructions, sensory friendly options, and space for breaks, children on the spectrum can participate meaningfully alongside their peers.
How do the workshop groups work when mixing all ages and abilities?..
From our vast past experience we have found that although a child themselves may have difficulties in certain situations, all children learn and create best when they feel supported, valued and included.
Working alongside each other helps all children build empathy, patience and teamwork skills, while giving them opportunities to celebrate different strengths.
How long do workshops last?...
Our length of workshops range . They are either 1 hour, 90 minutes or 2 hours.
Our camps and also our workshops for older children can range between 2 and 5 hours.
Do you facilitate workshops and events for others in new locations?..
Yes!
We are more than happy to discuss holding workshops or events in different locations. Workshops or events can be themed, structured, as well as budgeted to your specific needs.
We have previously held workshops in the Cashel library and Thurles library. As well as face painting at the North Tipperary Agricultural Show.
We have also held workshops in Scoil Mhuire Borrisokane for summer school and workshops for Enable Ireland in their Nenagh base.
